With perfect spring weather, it felt like one of those weekends when everything could go right–especially for a charity bake sale. Lillian and I had planned NYC Bake Sale for quite some time and finally, the day came for all the details to align.
After a fantastic couple of days of R&R in a charming bed & breakfast outside of New Hope, PA, followed by the excitement of Big Summer Potluck 3, it was quite difficult to transition back to day-to-day routines.
The hardest thing about returning from a vacation is focusing on everyday life when your thoughts are on a different continent. It took almost two weeks to snap back into reality. Of course, sorting hundreds of photos I had taken during the trip didn’t help a bit with the re-entry.
